I have learned an important thing now. Never, ever write a long article on DevART without copying it frequently, or just simply writing in Notepad and pasting. Just now dA eliminated possibly the longest text I have ever written in English in one day, and through my mind crossed such swearing which even a foul and vulgar language as Croatian has difficulties expressing, let alone English. Anyway, long time no see, guys! If it weren't for SDB you'd probably think I'm rising from the dead right now. The Internet dead. Well, I wanted to inform you that I'm updating my info here on deviantART, and I also decided to start drawing again. In a digital way, that is. I only use papper in the greatest need. But before I will start sharing the machinations of my mind and hand with you via the World Wide Web, there's one obstacle that stands in the way, named life.

Yeah, I know many people have problems in life now, especially the ones I had the most contact with previously on this site and with whom I still have more or less contact at SDB, but listening to me won't hurt anybody. After all, this is not a rant.

Im 19 years old now and I'm turning 20 in November. I'm attending the Pharmaceutical-Biochemical Faculty, in which I enrolled in September 2008, and I still have some exams to pass in order to finish the academic year. The exams are comming this September, and I will spending the 2nd half of August preparing for these exams. I will also have to look for a room where I will stay during my study. The faculty (college?) is in Croatia's capital Zagreb, which is 130 km away from Nova Gradiska, my hometown and also the poorest town in the country. Last year I was in a state-funded dorm, but I lost that priviledge because I failed to give all exams in the summer deadline, which is on 20th July. Now I'll have to give those exams in the autumn deadline. At the same time the economic crissis is coming to Croatia just now, because of the backwater we are. In neighbouring Hngary it came a year ago. Now we are curretly in a better shape than Hungary, but we still envy them because they fell at the same moment as Western Europe, and will rise at the same time, and then the world will look upon a failing Croatia and say:" What's wrong with these guys?". This just proves that Hungary is a full member of Western society, something Croatia is yet to become. Now let's stop this mini-rant before it escalates.

And yet at these times I rediscover my love for art, and apparently an unknown love for writing as well, since I actually enjoy writing this article, and just momments ago I made extensive comments on the artwork of a (at least according to my subjective opinion) great artist I have recently discovered. They're not as long as this text, but I still hope the poor woman will find them more of a help and support than of a nuisance.
